What is included
How a quote is built
For projects, we count things: users, custom modules and their size, Enterprise apps in use, integrations, and where the current system lives. Those counts go into a quote with a line per deliverable and a fixed total. If we discover something during the work that was not in the count, we tell you before doing it, and you decide.
For the retainer, the same counts set a tier, and you pick a block of fix hours. Hours are tracked in the portal to the quarter hour, with the ticket they were spent on. Unused hours do not roll over; we would rather size the block right than sell you a bank.
The first conversation, the quote, and a straight answer about whether you can leave Odoo Online yet are all free.
What you pay others
Because you own the accounts, some costs are billed to you directly and never pass through us:
- Hetzner Cloud for the server. Most companies land on a machine costing tens of dollars a month, in the US, Germany or Finland.
- Backblaze B2 for backup storage, typically a few dollars a month.
- A transactional mail provider if you do not already have one, often free at small volumes.
- Odoo Enterprise, if you keep it, paid to Odoo. Not needed on Community.
You pay these providers directly, at their own prices. We recommend only what we use ourselves.
