Allodi is based in Des Moines, Iowa, and was started inside a manufacturing business that runs on Odoo. It exists because the support that business wanted for its own system was not for sale.

Mark Kladivo started Allodi. He owns Corn Belt Aluminum, the Iowa manufacturer whose own Odoo system this service grew out of. Mark and Lisa Kladivo ran pcCentral, a desktop hosting company, for fifteen years, with more than 5,000 users, until it was sold in 2018. Their oldest son, Dillon, has since joined them at Allodi.
Changes to a customer's system outside a short list of pre-approved routine actions need approval from a named person at Allodi. Today that person is Mark Kladivo.

Where it comes from
Before Allodi came pcCentral, the desktop hosting company Mark and Lisa Kladivo ran for fifteen years. Keeping other people's systems running, patched and backed up is familiar work.
The manufacturer behind Allodi is Corn Belt Aluminum, an Iowa company that ran its business on other ERP software before it moved to Odoo. Its own people chose Odoo, implemented it, wrote and maintained the custom modules, ran the server, did the backups, fixed the bank reconciliation and answered the phone when a report was wrong. Today it runs on Odoo 18 on infrastructure it manages itself and is moving to Odoo 19, which is where the upgrade playbook on this site comes from. The case study has the numbers.
That is the whole qualification: not a partner badge, but a business that has to make payroll on this software every week.

Why this company exists
Running Odoo for a real company teaches you where it hurts. Not in the demo, and not in the first month. It hurts on the Tuesday a bank feed drops and nobody notices for two weeks. It hurts when a partner quotes a second implementation to move up one version. It hurts when a vendor receives many duplicate copies of a purchase order from test and re-run activity. Every change dry-run first, reviewed, committed with a name on it, noted in the record's chatter and summarized in the ticket.

The agent has a fence
Outside a short list of pre-approved routine actions it changes nothing without a person's approval, and code deployments, money, tax, user access and security settings, outgoing messages, and migrations or restores of production always go to a person, who sees the dry run first.

Small things are fast
A report column should not take three weeks and a change order. Small fixes are usually done in days, not weeks.
