Included in Managed Odoo at no extra charge while your subscription is active. Odoo's PDF reports and ZPL labels, printed from a record or a list, go straight to a printer in your office or warehouse, with no PDF download step, no VPN and no ports opened on your router.
Allodi Print runs on Odoo 19, with the agent for Windows, macOS and 64-bit ARM Linux.
What it does
Standard Odoo printing is a PDF download. Allodi Print sends the document to the printer instead.

Print a report to a printer
Choose "Print to..." in Odoo's Print menu to send a record's PDF report or ZPL label to any printer, with copies, tray, duplex and color.

Rules choose the printer
Rules decide which printer a report goes to, by report, workstation, user or kind of document: documents, labels, shipping or invoices. A rule also sets copies, tray, duplex, color and paper.

Label printers
ZPL labels go to label printers as raw ZPL. A PDF prints at its exact size, and a page larger than the paper is shrunk to fit.

Automatic printing
With Odoo's Automation Rules app installed, printing starts by itself: for example a delivery slip and carrier label when a delivery is validated, or an invoice when it is posted. Ready-made rules come switched off; you turn on the ones you want.

Attachments too
It prints a record's PDF and ZPL attachments, for example carrier labels.

One job prints once
A job is claimed by one agent, and a retry does not print it again. Test and staging copies made with Odoo's neutralize step, which Allodi uses for every copy, do not print.

A dashboard in Odoo
A dashboard in Odoo shows your sites, which agents (listed in Odoo as Allodi Print servers) are online or offline, the printers, the queue and any failures.

Several sites
Several locations, such as an office and a warehouse, each have their own agent and printers.
How it works
A small program, the Allodi Print Agent, is installed on a computer at each of your sites. It connects out to your Odoo, picks up print jobs and prints them on your local printers.
Documents go directly from your Odoo to the agent in your office. They do not pass through Allodi or any print cloud.
The agent runs on Windows, macOS and 64-bit ARM Linux, such as a Raspberry Pi with 64-bit Raspberry Pi OS.
For your IT team
The Allodi Print Agent connects out to your Odoo over HTTPS and listens on no inbound port, so it needs no VPN and no ports opened on your router. Print jobs travel directly from your Odoo to the agent at your site, and from there to your local printers.

Included in Managed Odoo
Allodi Print is included in Managed Odoo at no extra charge. There is no charge per print, no charge per user and no separate monthly fee: the Managed Odoo fee covers it. Its written terms are being added to the published contracts.

It works while your subscription is active
Allodi Print works while your Managed Odoo subscription is active. It renews its license with Allodi every day. Printing goes back to Odoo's standard PDF download if the subscription ends, if a renewal has not gone through for 7 days, or at once while the account is paused or suspended. No documents or data are lost, and nothing else changes: your Odoo, your server, your code and your backups keep running as before.

Allodi's own software, separate from your custom modules
Allodi Print is Allodi's own software, provided as part of Managed Odoo. It is licensed, not sold: while your Managed Odoo subscription is active you may use it for your own business; it is not one of your custom modules and stays with Allodi when you leave; and you may not modify it or remove its license check. These terms apply to Allodi Print in place of sections 9.3 and 9.4 of the master services agreement, and the order form for Managed Odoo with Allodi Print says so. It is separate from the custom modules we write for you, which are delivered to your repository with full source and licensed to you under LGPL-3; we keep the copyright (master services agreement, section 9.3).
