Sample report: a fictional company

This is what the free scan sends back: the counts, what they mean, and a quote from the published prices. The company is made up, and the report was produced from a hand-written example input, not from a scanned database. The report and every number in it are the unedited output of our report tool.

How this sample was made

Prairie Fabrication is the fictional company from our live demo. For this sample we described it as a small manufacturer on Odoo 17 Enterprise and wrote its scan result file by hand, in the format the scan file writes. No real database was scanned.

We then ran our report tool, the one that prepares real scan reports, on that file. The report below is its output, word for word, with the quote worked out from the published prices. Where the report describes what the scan read, it describes what a real scan does; this sample's file was written by hand.

The sample's report is dated September 30, 2026, the date of its example scan, so its quote holds through October 30, 2026. A real report is dated the day we receive your scan, and its quote holds for 30 days from that date.

What a real report adds

  • A person at Allodi reviews each report before it is sent.
  • When the scan finds something to confirm with you first, the report is marked preliminary and lists those points under "Before this quote is final". The confirmed quote, with binding project fees, follows once they are confirmed.
  • An appendix names every module and customization the scan found. It holds names only.

Allodi free scan: prairie_fabrication

Scan and report date: September 30, 2026. Scanned at 14:05 UTC with Allodi's scan tool, version 2026.09.25. The scan read Odoo's settings tables only, in a read-only session, and changed nothing. Module list dated September 24, 2026.

Can you leave Odoo Online now?

Yes. The database is on Odoo 17.0, a major version, so it can run on your own server. It uses Odoo Enterprise: on your own server you either keep an Odoo Enterprise subscription that covers self-hosting, or replace the Enterprise apps (the quote prices both). (This applies if the database is on Odoo Online today; the scan cannot see where it is hosted.)

Your quote

Every number below is a count above multiplied by the published prices at allodi.us/pricing.html on the date of this report, September 30, 2026. The quote holds for 30 days from that date, through October 30, 2026. All amounts are in US dollars and exclude sales tax, which is added where it applies.

Managed Odoo, monthly

LineCountPer month
First company1$75
Internal users12$180
Monthly total$255

The monthly total is an estimate from the counts on the scan date. Each month's fee follows the daily counts of your companies, branches and internal users: we count them every day, and each invoice uses the highest daily count of the billing period that just ended, as the Managed Odoo service description provides.

The fee includes 5 fix hours a month at these counts. Time beyond the included hours is billed at $150 an hour in 15-minute increments; we warn you before going over and do not exceed the included time by more than 2 hours without your approval. Work estimated at more than 8 hours is quoted separately.

Hosting is billed separately. In the standard setup, the server and backups are in your own Hetzner and Backblaze accounts and are billed to you by them. Hosting we provide temporarily during a move is passed through at cost.

One-time project fees

The project fees below (rescue and rehost, upgrade, customization cleanup) are fixed, and they are binding on us for what the scan counts: modules, Enterprise apps, companies, branches, internal users and customizations. If one of those existed in your database on the scan date and the scan did not count it, we do the work on it at our own cost and the fees stay the same. Items added after the scan date are handled as a change under the statement of work: priced from the published prices where they cover it, otherwise by the hour with an estimate first. What the scan does not count, such as integrations (listed at the end), is agreed with you before work starts.

Rescue and rehost, one time

MilestoneAmount
At signing: server build and test copy restored$250
At cutover: production live on your server$250
At handover: runbook, credentials, backups$250
Total$750

The first milestone is invoiced when the statement of work is signed; the server build and the restored test copy are the work that follows. If we cannot get your database running on the new server, with all modules loading and the data integrity checks passing, we refund the milestone paid at signing in full, unless the failure is caused by a dependency on your side that is not met, by you withdrawing our access, or by a third party refusing to release your data when you ask them to.

Upgrade, one time

LineCountAmount
Custom modules to port8$2,000
Major versions jumped2$1,000
Upgrade Odoo 17 to 19, keeping Enterprise$3,000

Moving to Community instead adds 6 Enterprise apps replaced x $250 = $1,500, for a total of $4,500.

Customization cleanup, one time

62 customizations: $1,750.

Modules by type

TypeInstalledWhat it means

Third-party2Written by a vendor or partner. Counted as modules to port unless the vendor supplies the new version.
OCA8Free modules from the Odoo Community Association; free to carry over when released for the target version.
Odoo Enterprise29Odoo's paid modules. Apps are priced below; supporting modules come out with their app.
Standard Odoo Community86Part of Odoo itself; carried over at no charge.

AccountingCommunity Invoicing plus OCA reporting and reconciliation.
BarcodeOCA barcode modules, where available for your version.
MRP II (work orders)Community Manufacturing keeps work orders; the shop-floor tablet view is Enterprise.

Standard modules that do not exist in Odoo 19 (merged or retired by Odoo; handled in the upgrade at no charge): sale_async_emails, sale_product_configurator, web_editor.

Customizations by category

CategoryCountWhat it means
Custom models1Record types created in the interface or with Studio. A model made with Studio counts once, with the fields, views, access rights and record rules on it. 1 made with Studio.
Custom fields23Fields created in the interface or with Studio, including Studio fields on standard models (not those of a Studio model, counted with it). 14 made with Studio.
Custom and inherited views12Views that no installed module defines: made in developer mode, with Studio, or imported. 8 made with Studio.
Edited standard views3Views that come from a module but whose layout was changed in the database.
Server actions5Actions made in the interface; those that run Python code are marked. 3 run Python code.
Automation rules6Automated actions made in the interface (one per rule, whatever its actions). 2 run Python code.
Scheduled jobs2Scheduled actions (cron jobs) made in the interface.
Reports3Report actions made in the interface or with Studio (their templates are counted as views). 1 made with Studio.
Access rights4Model access lines made in the interface.
Record rules2Record rules made in the interface.
Approval rules1Studio approval rules on buttons (Enterprise).
Asset files0JavaScript or style files added to Odoo's bundles in the database (Odoo 15 and later).
Total62The number the cleanup price uses.

What the scan did not count

  • Website content: 0 website pages and per-website copies of views made with the website builder. They are content, not customizations.
  • Menus (4) and window actions (3) made in the interface. They come with the model, report or action they open.
  • Analytic plan columns (1): fields named x_planN_id that Odoo itself adds for each extra analytic plan.
  • Views Odoo rewrites by itself (1), such as the access-rights part of the user form: marked as changed, but not by anyone.
  • Your records, email templates, filters, translations and system parameters, and who your users are. The scan counts users but never reads their names, logins or passwords.
  • Code in custom modules: the scan counts modules, it does not read their source. The upgrade price is per module.
  • Custom property fields (Odoo 16 and later), which are stored with your records, and anything in the filestore.
  • Integrations with outside systems: listed with you in the statement of work, not by the scan.
  • Other databases on the same server: each database is scanned and priced on its own.

The detail appendix lists every module and customization by name. It holds names only, never your records.
